I believe that people make their good luck by preparation and strategy.
Jack Canfield
There is a lot of talk about manifesting and creating our own reality whether that be health, relationships, or wealth. What if the real secret is not focusing on what you want to get but becoming who you were designed to be…the best version of you?
What if you focused your spiritual energy on becoming that? My guess is your relationships, health and wealth would change…
This year’s women’s retreat focuses on the three pillars of moving beyond lucky…into creating the life you were designed for:
Vision: Describing specifically what your character would be if you were at your very best…visualizing it like it has already happen. Get to know the you of the future.
Breakthrough: What behaviors and beliefs are holding you back from having that life now? Know the shadow within that is keeping you stuck at your known current level of disfunction.
Surrender: Releasing your own agenda on how things “should go”, trusting the process, connection with a divine source of power much bigger than yourself where all things are possible.
These steps taken in sequence and in the community with other women is a powerful recipe for healing growth and transformation.

“COA is the remedy for the plague that has come upon this generation. Society has taught us that we must be apart from nature and each other; when we really must come together so that we can be strong and connected.”
Who
The women of COA is a diverse sisterhood from different backgrounds, ages, professions and spiritual traditions. However, they all share one thing in common: a desire for growth, transformation, and service. Each woman represents a unique manifestation of the divine feminine. Their experience, personality, and spirit make them uniquely qualified to share their love and wisdom into each other’s life.
They (you) are the awesomeness that we are celebrating (even though most still struggle to own just how awesome they are.) Each woman is heroic in her own way…having overcome challenges many cant comprehend.
They are inspirational women. Women that show up for their family, friends and community. Women that want to be their best selves. Women that aren’t afraid to do the work to heal, grow, and love powerfully. WOMEN LIKE YOU!

FAQ
Q: I am not religious at all, in fact, I don’t really know if I believe in God. Is COA still for me?
A: While many attendees are religious, many are not. We encourage everyone to be respectful and open to the beliefs of others. COA is not affiliated with any religion or denomination. While the term “God” may be used it is the broadest definition of the word including terms such as nature, higher consciousness, the universe, etc. All people with a desire to grow are most welcome.
Q: Why are you as a man leading a women’s retreat?
A: Honestly, it has terrified me! However,I know how powerful this experience is in healing and transforming people’s lives regardless of gender. It has radically changed me in countless ways, so I wanted to offer the experience to the women in my life: clients, friends, my wife, daughter and other women who want to grow in community. It is also a chance for the women in the lives of the men that I have served to get to know one another on a deeper level.
I have worked carefully with my wife to create powerful boundaries to assure that the women will be able to have uncensored conversations amongst themselves without my presence being an impedance to honesty and transparency. The safety and comfort of the women involved is of high importance.
Q: I have not ever done a cold plunge, breath work or meditated. Do I have to participate in these?
A: At COA we practice radical ownership, meaning you are fully responsible for your experience and journey. While open-mindedness to new experiences is encouraged, if something doesn’t feel good or right for you, you are welcome to excuse yourself. We all are responsible for checking in with ourselves and knowing our limits.
Q: What should we bring?
A: Seasonally appropriate clothes including a bathing suit and toiletries is all that is required. Towels and linens are provided. We do a book exchange on the last day where we swap books that have been meaningful to us.
Optional items to consider are earplugs or headphones for close sleeping quarters, your favorite pillow, a journal and pen, snacks if you have something particular you love, and an open mind.
Q: What should I leave at home?
A: Alcohol, drugs, vapes etc. If you have a serious nicotine addiction then no-one will stop you from running to your car for a quick hit. Those things may make some people uncomfortable (many are in recovery) and inhibit your ability to get in touch with your truth.
Prejudice and polarizing opinions We all have these on politics, religion, covid, the state of the world and what to do about it. We want retreat to be free of the bombardment of crap that we often must shield our hearts against in our everyday life.
Technology. I am not going to take your phones away from you, but I am going to request that we minimize its use. I recommend that you tell your family and work you are going off the grid for the weekend. In the case of a true emergency, they can call me (317) 603-0886 and I will relay the message. If that seems too terrifying, limit your phone use to after dinner or before breakfast. Please give yourself the gift of not working on things other than yourself. You deserve the break. Everything can wait.
Q: What if I dont know anyone? Will I still have a good experience?
A: It can be intimidating to walk into a group of strangers. However, COA is designed to help people really get to know each other. With small groups and team challenges you have the opportunity to develop meaningful connections within your group. Many people find their “new best friends” at COA.
Testimonials From Participants
“I push myself to be more successful in work, family, and health. But I seldom find ways to challenge and inspire my heart and spirit that is the center of it all. That is what the weekend is all about.”
“COA was a rare experience in American culture. Within the first hour, a level of vulnerability was reached that is seldom experienced in any other facet of life. I felt welcomed and invited to be myself with no pretense. It was healing.”
“While the retreats’ interactions certainly pushed me out of my comfort zone they also seemed to open a door to a more human experience…a break from my constant cerebral focus. I still draw on the insight, perspective and conversations born from that weekend.”
